People want acknowledgement
I wrote a blog post titled "society tends to equilibrate you" and, I have a new theory related to that. You would also agree with me on this that once you escape the societal equilibrium forces, once you break free, then the society doesn't generally have a problem with you and they look up to you and want to be like you.
The bottom like is, people want achievers to acknowledge that they belong to their clan. For example, when Rishi Sunak became the prime minister of the UK, the fellow Indian people started celebrating saying that he's one of our own. But in reality, he had never even been to India in his entire lifetime.
And I think, it's a very common practice and not at all alien. People do get celebrities to sign their t-shirts for the same reason and also to boast in their clan.
So... what am I actually saying?
Nothing, it just came to my mind this morning.
