Tightly knit societies are very fragile

I have stayed in a complete rural village for over 20 years of life, and I can confidently say that rural societies are very fragile. Yes, they are tightly knit as in people would care about other people, but there's no room for criticism and that makes relationships break easily.

I think, I am not making myself very clear so let explain this again...

Let's understand from an example, we have very good relations with our neighbors as everyone helps everyone in ups and downs. But even a small action of your that someone didn't like will make you their enemies. The other day, one of the neighbors was washing their bike and the water flowed towards the other neighbor and they both fought for over an hour just for that.

Crazy!
